Taiwan's LED market returns to Wenjing, East Bay's performance is expected to grow

In the second quarter of the LED market, demand is picking up. The four-element LED production capacity of Jingdian is fully loaded. Dongbei is also optimistic that this quarter's performance is expected to grow in double digits, and the order visibility is two months.

Zhang Shixian, deputy general manager and spokesperson of Jingdian, said that demand in the second quarter was not bad. It is the best season in recent quarters. More and more orders for crystal quaternary LEDs are not enough, and the demand for blue LEDs is also insufficient. Yes, the capacity rate has reached 80%, which is about 10% higher than the previous increase. As for the overall order in April, the price and quality are better than March.

Dongbei is gradually turning to smart lighting, and its performance has increased. Wu Qinghui, chairman of Dongbei, said that the current order visibility is about two months, and the second quarter is expected to increase by two digits.

Wu Qinghui said that the first season is the traditional off-season of the LED factory, and the number of working days is small. Therefore, Dongbei has only a small profit, but after adjusting the product strategy, the proportion of low-margin products declines, so the profit in the second quarter will grow significantly. Wu Qinghui pointed out that last year, the LED factory had a good profit in addition to Yiguang. Dongbe and Longda made small profits, and the rest were losing money. It is difficult for everyone to have confidence in the LED industry. This year's top priority is to make achievements for everyone to see.
