LED test picking station factory Fu Keke will cut into the LED packaging market in 2010 Q3

Taiwan's Formosa Plastics Group's IC packaging and testing plant, Fukuoka (8131), has stabilized its LED test picking business and will enter the LED packaging market in Q3 2010.

The company has already entered the equipment in June 2010. It is expected to start production in July and August 2010, and customers will lock in downstream packaging plants such as South Asia Optoelectronics and Everlight.

At this stage, the company's LED operation includes LED epitaxial grinding, cutting, spot testing, and classification. There are already customers of LED epitaxial crystals such as Jingdian, Taigu and Guangjia.

According to the company, LED test picking revenue accounted for 3% of revenue, and is expected to increase to 5% by the end of 2010.
