The first is the shape and structure of the luminaire. The shape of traditional street light fixtures, such as sodium light source lamps, light sources and electrical appliances are generally divided into two parts, which may vary from product to product, but in general, they are basically the same. However, the particularity of the LED light source, the way of light distribution is different, and now the shape of the LED street light fixture can be described as a variety of patterns, many of which can not meet the operational requirements of the lamp, and even some enterprises use indoor indoor standards for outdoor street lights. In addition, the connection between the LED lamp and the lamp post is also problematic. Almost all the LED street lamps are fixed by screws, and few hoop bolts are fixed. It is possible that the installation process is simple, so the manufacturer spends a little effort on this. However, for the operating unit, safety production is the basis, and the connection of the luminaire is directly related to the safe operation of the luminaire, so the degree of attention to it is even greater.

Followed by the weight of the luminaire. The weight of the luminaire is very important, but the general LED manufacturers do not have this awareness, or do not think too much about this. LED luminaires for heat dissipation, the luminaire's outer casing may be heavier than conventional luminaires. However, excessive weight will have an impact on operation and maintenance.

The third is the issue of replaceability of the luminaire components. LED street light components generally have LED chips, power supplies (drivers), and lamp housings. The main components are: power supply (driver) and chip. In general, LED luminaire chips cannot be replaced, and the power supply (drive) can be replaced. However, the replacement of some product power supplies (drivers) is not convenient enough, or it takes too much time to replace them in the field. In addition, the current life of LED lamps is generally 30,000 hours, the longest is 50,000 hours. If the LED chip cannot be replaced, only the entire luminaire can be replaced at that time, resulting in a large waste.

The fourth is the life of the power supply (driver). The power supply (driver) is a very critical component of current LED luminaires. Because the power supply (driver) of many LED luminaire manufacturers is not produced by themselves, sometimes the quality of the LED luminaire itself is good, but it is often inadvertently planted on the problem of the power supply (driver).

In fact, whether it is the quality or life of the LED itself, or the life of the power supply (driver), it is the embodiment of the quality and life of the LED street lamp itself. The quality assurance of the LED lamp should include these two aspects, that is, the life of the LED street lamp 3 10,000 hours or 50,000 hours should include the quality and life of the power supply (driver). At present, the situation on the market is that the general LED lamp manufacturers only guarantee the quality of the LED chip, and the life of the power supply (driver) is another matter. Manufacturers generally guarantee 2 years of majority, less than three years, and too few in five years. Therefore, the development of LED street light fixtures now has a new bottleneck - power supply (driver), and its quality assurance has restricted the development of LED street lights.
